At Dalby Farm, we believe in the power of nature and the importance of preserving rare and endangered species. That’s why we’re so excited to share the heartwarming journey of Pablo and Pickles, two adorable Ossabaw Island Hogs, with you.

When these little piglets first arrived at Dalby Farm in Scituate, Massachusetts, they were just 4 months old. Today, a few months later, they’ve already become stars of our educational farm, capturing the hearts of everyone who visits. Through our latest video, we’re inviting you to watch their transformation and grow alongside them— from their early days as curious newcomers to their adventures on the farm.

A Journey of Growth and Discovery

This 5-minute video takes you through the highlights of Pablo and Pickles’ journey, starting when they were still tiny piglets adjusting to their new home. You’ll get a front-row seat to their playful antics, moments of curiosity, and adorable interactions with each other and their new surroundings. From their early days exploring the farm to their growing confidence and unique personalities, Pablo and Pickles are truly a joy to watch.

The video captures more than just their physical growth; it’s filled with those little moments that make farm life so special—the gentle sounds of hooves on the ground, soft grunts of contentment, and the peaceful ambiance that comes with living in tune with nature. Some parts of the video even have an ASMR-like quality, with the soft rustling of straw and the natural noises of the farm providing a calming and soothing atmosphere.

Endangered, Yet So Full of Life

Ossabaw Island Hogs are a rare breed, native to Ossabaw Island off the coast of Georgia. They are considered endangered due to their small population and the challenges they face in the wild. By caring for and educating the public about these incredible animals, we hope to raise awareness about their conservation status and the importance of preserving rare breeds.

Pablo and Pickles are not just cute faces; they represent the future of their breed, and we’re so grateful to have them as part of our farm family. Their journey is a reminder of the beauty of biodiversity and the role we all play in protecting the world’s endangered species.
